FAQ

Straight answers to what people ask before an engagement starts.

Are you an agency?

No. I lead and deliver the work directly, and bring in specialists where a project needs expertise beyond mine. You work with me — directly, always.

What does an engagement cost?

Technology Partnerships start at $5,000/month. Website builds start at $25,000, after a $2,500 paid discovery that is credited in full toward the build. Priced against the outcome, never hourly.

Who owns the work?

You do. Code, content, accounts.

Do you mark up tools, hosting, or contractors?

No. Costs pass through at the agreed rate, in your name.

Do you take referral fees?

Sometimes, from partners I'd recommend regardless. When a referral fee applies to a decision you're making, you hear about it first.

Do you only build WordPress?

I reach for it often — I know it end to end, and it's usually the right call for publishing and content businesses. If something else serves the outcome better, I'll say so.

Are you a hosting company?

No. I'll set up managed hosting, or work inside what you already have. You own the account and the contracts.

Do you provide ongoing support?

Every build includes 90 days of white-glove care. After that, ongoing care continues inside a Technology Partnership — not a break-fix maintenance tier.

Do you work with teams that already have engineers?

Yes. Often the partnership sits above a team that ships fine but needs architecture, vendor, and integration calls made by someone who has made them before.

Will you work as a subcontractor for another agency?

Yes — embedded with their team, or working behind their name, depending on what the engagement needs.

Where are you?

Pasadena, Maryland. Remote, with travel where an engagement warrants it.

How does an engagement start?

With an application through the contact page. I reply within two business days, then set up a 45-minute fit call — if it isn't a fit, I'll tell you and point you somewhere better.
