Sept 2022 – Present- Serve as Fractional CTO, principal engineer, and strategic advisor to enterprise digital publishers, media companies, ad-tech platforms, and WordPress VIP agencies.
- Embedded as technical project manager on flagship publisher accounts: owned Jira intake, sprint prioritization, and technical roadmaps, and translated newsroom workflows into paywall, newsletter, and subscriber tooling requirements.
- Rebuilt a legacy digital/print outdoor media platform into a modern hybrid architecture, fixing persistent Core Web Vitals issues and establishing a multi-year technical partnership.

July 2016 – Sept 2022- Directed cloud infrastructure migration to Altis Cloud DXP (with Human Made), scaling the platform to traffic peaks near 38M monthly unique visitors without traffic-driven outages.
- Shifted revenue from 100% programmatic dependence to a balanced 50/50 model combining ad-tech yield with recurring reader subscriptions and automated merchandise fulfillment.
- Co-led audience mobilization that raised $1.8M via GoFundMe, strengthened by direct-to-consumer member campaigns that established recurring working capital reserves.
- Led negotiations with tier-1 platforms, including Snopes' initial Facebook partnership and a strategic 2019 exit to protect data sovereignty and operational independence.
